Visa and Emirates NBD Extend Partnership in a Five-Year Deal

In an announcement on Monday, digital payment facilitator Visa and UAE’s Emirates NBD extend their partnership in a 5-year agreement.

The renewal aims at facilitating innovation in the digital payment platforms in the UAE and offer value to various customer segments of the bank.

In addition, Visa gains exclusivity to Emirates NBD’s credit card program for Liv, along with other offerings of the bank under the 5-year agreement.This renewal also extends the agreement on the current credit openings- products like Visa Signature, Visa Infinite, and Visa Infinite Privilege.

Senior executive vice president, Retail banking and wealth management of Emirates NBD, Suvo Sarkar expressed his delight to renew the partnership with Visa and continue receiving industry recognition for the bank’s Visa credit card- U by Umaar.

The two companies have been partners since the inception of Emirates NBD. The long-term collaboration will work towards promoting through data-led solutions and innovative platforms, along with advantages from Visa’s sponsorships, and direct operational efficiencies and cost reduction by the virtue of Visa’s data solutions to benefit cardholders.
