Leading Mexican wholesale carrier C3ntro Telecom selects Tejas Networks to upgrade its high-speed fiber backbone and broadband network with optical transport.

In the partnership, C3ntro will be deploying Tejas’ multi-terabit TJ1600 OTN/DWDM solution in the need of the hour- increased bandwidth to support the surge in data center interconnect and broadband for Work from Home (WFH), online learning programs, and Video-on-demand applications.

C3ntro offers broadband connectivity alongside SMS and international voice for enterprise and residential customers across LatAm and Mexico. Additionally, the carrier’s network platform includes over 300 direct global interconnects and in-country partners. Broadband is a leading sector for growth in Mexico’s telecoms market.

Simon Masri, CEO at C3ntro Telecom, expresses happiness with the decision to choose Tejas for their next phase of network expansion. The recent up-gradation to Tejas’s 100G OTN/DWDM solution will enable to offer reliable service delivery to other Tier 1 international carriers using C3ntro’s platform, he added.
