Apple Unveils iPad Pro Line-up, M1 iMac, Apple TV, and More

Apple Inc. has unveiled a whole new iPad pro-line-up, AirTags, and the highly anticipated new iMac at the Spring Loaded 2021 event. 

The tech giant has also announced a subscription podcast service within its podcast app that underscores the company’s focus on building out digital services to fuel growth and customer loyalty within its ecosystem. 

With iOS 14.5, customers will find revamped Apple Podcast app, featuring Smart Play Button and an enhanced Search tab. Users of macOS 11.3, iPadOS 14.5, and iOS 14.5 can avail these features.

The two iPad Pro models will also come with 5G cellular connectivity and access to faster Ethernet networks and storage devices, and compatibility with monitors like Apple’s 6K Pro Display. The iPad Pros feature a new webcam and “Center Stage” that identifies people and keeps them well-framed during video calls. 

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at $1,099, while the 11 inches at $799 without the $299 Magic Keyboard case and $129 Apple Pencil. 

All the while the new iMac comes with impressive vibrant colours, a brilliant 4.5K Retina display, and an M1 chip. 

Apple TV has also undergone improvements in performance and better HDR playback. The next generation of Apple TV 4K has an automatic calibration tool that makes use of an iPhone to better the picture quality.
