Leading global technology company Zoho Corporation announced a unique right-to-left (RTL) website builder in Arabic, for Zoho Commerce, it’s e-commerce platform.

In addition to this, the company also stated that its platform will be integrated with Tap Payments, one of the leading payment solutions provider in the MENA region. This integration would empower businesses in the region throughout their digital transformation process.

Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho – MEA, stated that the company was committed to lowering the entry barrier for technology adoption, and serving local businesses in the UAE.

Nizam further added that businesses will be able to set up online stores in Arabic, accept payments and manage orders and shipping, from a single platform. In addition to this, the integration with Tap Payments will allow Zoho users to accept payments in a seamless, secure and convenient way. While making the announcement, he said that a digital presence is imperative for businesses to thrive, and that he hoped entrepreneurs across the region would adopt the company’s technology to enhance their growth.

Commenting on the company’s outlook for expansion in the MENA region, Nizam said that the company’s transnational localised approach has helped the it to expand organically in the region, since it is a strategy where company growth is firmly entrenched in the local business ecosystem and development.

He added that the company intends to increase its on-ground presence by hiring new talent and establishing new offices in the region. Nizam said that the company had focused on assisting entrepreneurs through government partnerships and local business networks. He also said that the company would evolve its products and services to better serve the needs of the local markets.

Zoho’s Integration with Tap Payments

It is an established fact that accepting payments online helps improve the cash flow of businesses, by allowing them to get paid sooner, thereby reducing the costs incurred with physical transactions. Zoho’s integration with Tap Payments will allow businesses to accept multi-currency payments with the convenience of local and international payment options for customers that include Mada, Knet, Visa, BenefitPay, American Express and Mastercard.

The integration with Tap Payments will be available across the company’s apps, including Zoho Books, which is an accounting software that provides e-invoicing options in accordance with local regulations.

EVP of Business for Tap Payments, Ahmed Al Aradi, stated that the partnership will enable a smooth online payment experience for customers and merchants. He said that Zoho, similar to Tap, was a leader in its ecosystem, and would now be able to offer customers easy access to the MENA payment ecosystem.

Zoho’s Arabic website builder

Zoho Commerce is an e-commerce platform that allows businesses to rapidly create an online store. The platform offers a wide range of customizable pre-built templates, along with a drag and drop website builder.

Users of the platform can manage their online stores by accessing a variety of features that include order management, product listing, shipping integration, SEO optimization, and email automation.

The platform is now one of the few global vendors to offer an in-built right-to-left website builder, without the need for any additional plug-ins, configurations or templates.

Incorporating this feature will allow a large number of businesses in the MRNA region to build their e-commerce stores in Arabic. The integration with Tap Payments is due to be live in the near future.
