Aptean announced its acquisition of Frontix BV, a prominent provider of cloud-based Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and energy management solutions to manufacturers in Belgium, the Netherlands, and other countries around the world. Aptean is a global provider of mission-critical enterprise software solutions that assist manufacturers in the development and growth of their businesses.

Founded in 1999 and based in the Netherlands, Frontix Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is used in more than 200 production facilities prominently in chemical manufacturing, food, beverage, and consumer-packed goods industries. Frontix’s software solutions provide real-time insights into the production performances which assist the process manufacturers to gain data that can be used to have consistent and continuous improvements and attainment of plans. Frontix’s OEE complements Aptean’s existing offers to process manufacturers in Benelux and improves the firm’s ability to serve its customers in this important industry segment. Cloud solutions are known for their rapidness, and effective execution and it’s an untroublesome and convenient way to use for all stakeholders including plant operators.

The firm will make the best use of its global-scale resources and technological expertise and experience to bring the advantages of Frontix OEE monitoring to additional markets.
