Committed to philanthropy, advancing education in Cambodia

Prince Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Prince Holding Group, focuses on the three pillars of education and youth development, community engagement as well as healthcare. It aims to partner with public-private stakeholders under the guiding vision of “Together, Building a Better Future for Cambodia”.

Over the years, Prince Foundation has unveiled more than 250 charity events aiding 500,000 people with donations surpassing US$14 million over the past seven years.

Last year, the Group launched the “Chen Zhi Scholarship” in partnership with the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport (MoEYS). Set to disburse US$2 million in scholarship aid, the scholarship will improve rural areas by ensuring financial aid for rural students who will then give back to their communities or contribute to urbanisation.

Moreover, the Group has donated US$6 million to the Cambodian government’s anti-pandemic efforts, including the purchase of 1 million COVID-19 vaccines, and it has also organized several rounds of COVID-19 vaccinations and ensured all 3,500+ employees were fully vaccinated ahead of schedule.

Over the years, Prince Group has invested more than US$2 billion in local projects and continuously affirms its long-term commitment to Cambodia in numerous ways through its sustainable development efforts.

This year, it secured an award under the Social Empowerment Category for the Chen Zhi Scholarship reflecting the work of Prince Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Prince Holding Group that is working alongside several non-government organisations ultimately to strengthen human capital in Cambodia.

Prince Foundation aims to disburse US$2 million in academic aid to fully fund the undergraduate courses of 400 eligible students across seven years. It aims to fully cover tuition fees and monthly stipends and help secure internship and employment opportunities. As of September, 100 scholars have already received the award for the 2022/23 academic year from a total pool of 1,500 applicants
