Rotana is a collection of properties that capitalize on access to the hotel chains’ broad systems and networks with an aim to manage around 30 Edge properties in the area by the year 2027

Rotana is one of UAE’s industry-leading hotel management companies with more than 100 properties across the globe including Eastern Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and MENAT. The hotel management company highlights its expansion plans into diverse markets by featuring a distinct collection of resorts and hotels at the World Travel Market (WTM) London, 2022.

The event, which is taking place from 7th-9th November 2022, provides the hotel management company with an exquisite platform for engaging with partners, customers, and stakeholders in the UK market. Edge by Rotana is a collection of properties that capitalize on access to the hotel chains’ broad systems and networks with an aim to manage around 30 Edge properties in the area by the year 2027.

Two new Edge by the firm managed hotels in the United Arab Emirates, centered in Arabian Park and Damac Hills 2 in Dubai. Rotana is all set to have a new Edge property in Istanbul as the company recently signed an agreement for the same. This marks the 15th consecutive year the firm is participating in the World Travel Market (WTM) showcasing its vigorous pipeline across the MENAT region. The company also focuses on its strong expansion in Africa along with an entry into the Algerian market with the unveiling of Azure Rotana Resort & Spa in the port city of Oran in quarter 2 of the year 2023.

Luxor Rotana, which is planned to open by the end of 2023, will be the newest addition to one of the six hotels planned to open in Egypt. Strengthening its position in the Middle East hospitality market, the hotel management corporation has signed several agreements which include the Bloom Arjan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi. The new hotel in Muscat’s Al Mouj development is due to open in the first quarter of the coming year.  Bin Al Sheikh Residences by Rotana and Riviera Rayhaan are the two properties the company is opening in Qatar.

The Chief Executive Officer and President of the company, Guy Hutchinson states that as the company had a profitable year of compatible performance and sustained expansion the company is looking forward to a better year coming in the confidence of the firm’s portfolio with the opening of new hotels in important markets in MENAT and beyond. “We work very closely with several regional destination boards to continue boosting tourism and our new openings will contribute towards those goals”, says Guy Hutchinson. The group has also signed for The Residences by Rotana to provide villa housing in the port city of Bodrum in Turkey.

Rotana also announced the launching of the first five-star hotel in Slemani Rotana in Sulaymaniyah, Dammam, Dana Rayhaan by Rotana, and the relaunch of Johari Rotana in Tanzania. The company presently controls around 72 hotels in Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Türkiye, serving more than six million guests per year, including a remarkable 10,012 keys across 36 hotels in the UAE. With a vigorous developing pipeline, the hospitality group is on the trail to accelerate hotel signings and landmark developments in line with its steadfast development plans.
