Intertec System’s highly advanced facility responds to customers’ requirements and their demands to have in-country, reasonably priced, and sophisticated cybersecurity operations built by Tata Communications that enhance security incident detention and alleviate the substantial results of cyberattacks like causing financial damage and reputation issues

Intertec Systems, a leading system integrator in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) that offers managed services in the region, and Tata Communication, the subsidiary of Tata Communications Ltd., extend their partnership. Tata Communications, as a part of this partnership, sets up its Cyber Security Operations Center (SOC).

The Cyber Security Operation Center will provide managed security services coupled with cyber-threat intelligence to protect important and confidential information regarding the company and provide insights that will assist in maintaining and safeguarding their businesses. The partnership will bring forward innovative Security solutions, Collaboration (UCC), Cloud, the Internet of Things (IoT), and Unified Communications, combined with Intertec Systems service support and provide knowledge of the enterprise market in the region.

The services will allow the firms to focus more on their key businesses and make use of their resources for critical projects that are important for their growth, states the official statement regarding the matter by Tata Communications.

Intertec System’s highly advanced facility responds to customers’ requirements and their demands to have in-country, reasonably priced, and sophisticated cybersecurity operations built by Tata Communications that enhance security incident detention and alleviate the substantial results of cyberattacks like causing financial damage and reputation issues.

Tata Communications will also provide real-time analytics in addition to leveraging automation, advanced intelligence, and information enrichment that is monitored all day. This is aided by Tata Communication’s proficient cyber security solutions, which let people and related activities be ‘integrated seamlessly’  and systematically into the security foundation. The company also employs certified professionals to deal with growing risks and consequences of cyber security breaches irrespective of time, source, or the type of attack encountered.

The managing director and President of Intertec Systems, Naresh Kothari,  state that many firms function well with the increased adaptation of technology in the Gulf Cooperation Council(GCC) including migration to the cloud and remote work tools, and helped the enterprises to open new business avenues. He also added that such innovations in technologies and the adaptation of the same made the companies more susceptible to cyberattacks. Strong partnerships aid the company to expand digitalisation in the GCC, adds Naresh Kothari.

“By creating an integrated offering with Tata Communications, we are adding value for our customers by bringing local and global expertise. Together, we have the capability to address various cyber security risks,” says Naresh Kothari.

“We are glad to expand our partnership with Intertec Systems to enable enterprises in the UAE to lead in a digital-first world,” says Vaneet Mehta, Region Head, Middle East, Central Asia & Africa, Tata Communications. He further adds that the combined effort of both firms would bring in ‘global expertise with local experience’ that would aid them in digital transformation with flexibility and agility.

“The next-gen, in-country SOC coupled with our managed SOC services empowers customers to take a proactive and predictive approach to safeguard their digital operations from cloud to edge to endpoints,” said Vaneet Mehta.
