TripActions, a leading provider of all-in-one travel, corporate cards, and expense management solutions, and Lufthansa Group Airlines have announced an all-inclusive business travel platform targeted at small and medium sized enterprises.

A first of its kind, the user-friendly solution provides users with direct access to accommodations, flights, train and car rental content enhanced by a personalized and fast booking process. The platform utilizes cutting edge technology and enables users to access all attractive NDC offers.

The launch of the platform is part of the joint vision of the two companies to proactively reshape the landscape of managed travel in an ever-increasing digital corporate-customer dynamic.

Lufthansa launches new platform after a decade

Senior Vice President of Channel Management at Lufthansa Group Network Airlines, Tamur Goudarzi Pour, said that he was happy that the company was going live with the new platform, which was the first in over a decade.

He also said that the new platform, in strategic association with TripActions, would provide a seamless travel experience for its customers. He further stated that as a global leader in digital travel management, TripActions was the ideal business partner for the 360-degree travel solution.

The platform will allow corporate clients to choose between an Essentials and a Premium Business ToGo platform tier, depending on their individualized needs. Both tiers will allow users to access the entire range of offerings from the Lufthansa Group and its partners, as well as access to a wide range of hotel, train and car rental content from TripActions.

Customers of the platform will also benefit from a range of benefits, including hotel rates negotiated by TripAction, management information, CO2 emissions reporting, round-the-clock customer support and centralized billing. In addition, members of Lufthansa’s PartnerPlus Benefits program have the option to collect and redeem their points directly via the booking platform.

The Premium package enables corporate customers  to avail of enhanced on-boarding and support services, in addition to offers of other airlines. The per-trip fee charged in the Premium Package will enable customers to make unlimited use of servicing support provided by TripActions.

Chief Commercial Officer of Lufthansa Airlines, Stefan Kreuzpaintner, said that the launch of the travel solution would provide small and medium sized corporate customers the ability to utilize an innovative and modern business booking platform that combines the latest in technology with a wide range of benefits.

Danny Finkel, Chief Commercial Officer of TripActions, said that they were excited at the prospect of a winning collaboration between TripActions and Lufthansa Airlines, which was initially announced last December.

He also added that they were grateful for the pioneering vision of Lufthansa whose partnership enabled TripActions to build the industry-first platform in such a small period of time.
