By receiving license from Visa, Qatar National Bank (QNB) has become the first foreign bank to grant Visa solutions in Sudan.

QNB’s customers living in Sudan can now easily get access to safe and secure digital payment solutions, both domestic and international, along with e-commerce transactions. Located in the major cities of Sudan, Qatar National Bank is the country’s first Qatari commercial bank, offering a comprehensive range of products and services.

With a focus to enhance the economic conditions of the nation and make the bank’s products more accessible for the Sudanese customers, this decision will help invest and grow the payments scenario, says Heba al-Tamimi, general manager of QNB, in a statement.

Visa’s General Manager for North America, Mr. Ahmed Gaber, also expressed his delight to partner with the bank and aid in improving the economy of the nation by paving new ways to transact, and benefits Sudanese customers and consumers.
