The President and CEO of MidAmerican Energy Company, Kelcey Brown, stated that as the firm continued to advance towards delivering 100% renewable energy to its consumers, it was also concocting a means to meet an essential milestone of net-zero carbon emissions.

Berkshire Hathaway estimated that the Wind Prime project will birth 1,100 jobs during its construction phase, and an additional 125 for ongoing endeavours. It can produce an average of USD 24 million annually in local property-tax payments on the solar and turbines equipment, alongside over USD 21 million in yearly landowner-easement transactions. The firm estimates that the construction will be finished in the dusk of 2024 if the project receives approval.
