Around 150 construction and design firms have visited NEOM (New Future), a planned cross-border city in the Tabuk Province (Saudi Arabia), in the past 4 days. The magnanimous Saudi LINE project (brought to the Middle East by NEOM) seeks to explore partnership opportunities.

NEOM (New Future) is on the lookout for contractors and investors in the LINE project, which is situated in the northwest of Saudi Arabia (Tabuk province), on the banks of the Red Sea.

The four-day meeting between New Future and delegates from the 150 local and international firms of construction and design has been concluded.

The NEOM (New Future) 4-day meet

In a statement, New Future said that the representatives from the various local and international companies took part in the 4-day meet to visit a logistics park of 12 square kilometers dimensions.

The logistics park landscapes construction hamlets with communities that comprise approximately 30,000 workers. The logistics park also features warehouses, construction service institutions, and offices. The NEOM Logistics Complex is one of the biggest temporary logistics complexes found in the globe.

The 4-day meeting was inclusive of an opening conference by NEOM (New Future), which was targeted at laying out the intentions of the company’s mission and strategies to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The meeting was also highlighted Crown Prince Muhammad Bin’s determined direction towards building an improved future.

Nadhmi Al-Nasr, CEO of NEOM (New Future), stated that the firm was concerned about the future of construction and design. The company offers a positive image in the manner in which the project should be. This is owing to the magnanimous size of the project itself, which will necessitate robust partners from global industries to interpret the principles of the firm on the ground.

Brett Smythe, Chief Projects Officer at NEOM (New Future), stated that the company witnessed great interest from several potential partners, in the 4-day meet. He said that this kind of reception confirmed the good intentions behind NEOM’s work.

Smythe stated that the company was striving to pilot the direction of the real estate sector towards technological progressiveness, increased efficiency, and novel innovations.

The NEOM project, dubbed the LINE project, is a foundational step in the realization of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The project will not only facilitate a variety of income sources but will also contribute to the uniquely futuristic vision in the degree of vastness and versatility of projects and businesses. Through the LINE project, the company will facilitate the creation of around 380,000 jobs and is estimated to realize an income of SAR 180 billion (USD 47.99 billion) in the gross domestic product by 2030.

About NEOM’s LINE Project

The Crown Prince and Chairman of the NEOM Company, his royal highness Mohammed bin Salman, created the LINE project to start a revolutionized urban living lifestyle and the cross-border city of NEOM. He also brainstormed a blueprint to channelize a harmonious co-existence between the people and the Earth.

The LINE is a 170 kilometer stretch of hyper-connected future settlements, devoid of roads and cars. The city is built amid nature and is a direct response to the current challenges faced by all of humanity, like- pollution, traffic, human congestion, and legacy infrastructure.

The project is a foundational step in the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030. The LINE project will also serve as an economic booster for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It will instill diversification and provide over 380,000 jobs to facilitate approximately USD 47.99 billion to the Kingdom’s domestic gross domestic product.
