Amana Contracting Group, the regional leader in design-build construction across the United Arab Emirates, has announced a new brand identity that showcases its capabilities. Now formulated into three vertically integrated business units: Construct, Manufacture and Enhance, the alteration mirrors the group’s offerings for an evolving business landscape and the drive to set up cleaner, greener, and more innovative solutions, stated a statement from the company.

Amana’s re-energised brand identity is concentrated around a circle, reflecting strength and harmony, and speaks to its promise of delivering certainty.

Amana – ‘We Build with You’

The group added that Amana’s new tagline, ‘We Build with You’ epitomises its strengths in collaboration and intelligence.

Riad Bsaibes, the President and CEO of Amana Investments, stated that Group Amana had built a formidable reputation over three decades of operations in Dubai with its commitment to sustainability, innovation, and digitalisation. While their name remains the same, their evolution reflects their re-aligned business strategies for the future and their collaborative approach to realising successful projects.

Amana is poised to clutch on to future opportunities and partner with the GCC region in its economic growth.

Amana Construct consists of Amana Contracting and Amana Aviation Fueling and builds on a 30-year legacy of industrial construction.

Since its inception in 1993, the firm has constructed more than 1,500 buildings across the United Arab Emirates for clientele inclusive of AD Ports Group, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Almarai, Amazon, Coca-Cola, DHL, Landmark Group, Emirates Airlines, Jebel Ali Free Zone, KIZAD, Majid Al Futtaim Properties, Mars, Nestle, Noon, and Unilever.

Amana Manufacture influences the transformational potential of manufacturing construction through Amana companies- DuBox and DuPod. Both companies have delivered over 130,000 sqm of built-up area (BUA) in modular construction for clients, including Adnoc, Emaar, The Red Sea Development Company, Qiddiya Investment Company, and Wasl Properties, among others, indicated the statement.

It also stated that DuBox had bagged several contracts for high-profile clients in KSA over the past two years, namely The Qiddiya Investment Company and The Red Sea Development Company (TRSDC), moving 85% of construction from sites to the factory.

DuBox, a specialist in next-generation offsite volumetric modular construction, extends a safer building environment, potentially reducing material waste by up to 30 per cent and improving work safety by up to 70 per cent. These statistics are proven, not projected. The final products are easily relocatable, allowing the client to shift and relocate in sync with market demands. DuBox is supporting the Kingdom’s national agendas of sustainability, nurturing Saudi talent and aiding economic diversification.

Amana Enhance supports the region’s sustainability agenda and is helping businesses accomplish their green ambitions with its brands Amana Solar and Amana Energy-Saving. The UAE’s 2050 target is to achieve net-zero emissions, followed by Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in 2060. These sustainability ambitions align with national initiatives across the GCC that are steering the renewables plan, such as the UAE Green Agenda 2015-2030 and Vision 2021 and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

The firm has facilitated clients to produce more than 80,000,000 kWh of clean solar energy, enough to energise 3,239 homes for a year, thus saving AED 18.25 million (USD 4.97 million) on energy costs and conserving 200,000 trees since 2018. In addition, nearly 500,000 sq. m of industrial buildings and associated rooftops are constructed annually.

The group is a pioneer in constructing rooftop solar power plants. In early 2015, it was one of the first contractors approved by DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) to deliver installation and maintenance services for solar energy systems. This categorisation is associated with the conglomerate personnel certified by DEWA as a solar PV proficient, making it the most addressed contractor of choice for designing, installing, and maintaining roof-mounted solar power plants.

With over 8,000 employees in 11 cities across seven countries, the company continues to build on its formidable legacy, shaping the future of construction.
