AXA Green Crescent, an insurance firm in the Gulf Cooperation Council, has reformed its branding to HAYAH Insurance Company after approval from regional regulators. The rebranding exercise follows AXA’s exit from the Arab sphere in September 2021.

Since it entered the Gulf region in 2014, the company has offered medical and life insurance to residents. With the new name change and what promises to be a unique new visual identity, HAYAH Insurance is set to reflect the vitality and vigour of the new company’s identity. HAYAH will become the go-to brand for life and medical insurance solutions by offering innovative digital solutions.

Mohamed Seghir, the Chief Executive Officer of HAYAH, was ecstatic about AXA Green Crescent’s rebranding. It underpinned the firm’s strategic focus on digital and product proposition innovation in savings, medical, and life insurances.

The Chief Executive Officer further elucidated that as the firm was regionally cemented with robust technical expertise and leaders of digital innovations, it was safe to assume that HAYAH was an Arab specialist in the segments mentioned above. Furthermore, the firm strived to make its solutions more accessible to consumers. Additionally, Mr Mohamed Seghir indicated that HAYAH would seek to constantly serve excellent products and services while enhancing its product portfolio with state-of-the-art developments throughout all the pipelines of its business enterprise.

HAYAH Insurance Company is based out of Abu Dhabi and is listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange. AXA Green Crescent’s brand transformation into HAYAH will be implemented over the next few weeks.

In November 2020, AXA declared that it had crossed the threshold into an agreement with the Gulf Insurance Group (GIG). The agreement allowed the latter to take over the French group’s insurance operations in the Arab sphere, including AXA Green Crescent. The two entities accomplished the deal in September 2021.

About HAYAH (AXA Green Crescent)

AXA Green Crescent Insurance Company PJSC (AXA Green Crescent) was conceived in 2014. The firm focussed on delivering life protection and savings blueprints to individuals, corporates, and businesses alike in the Gulf Cooperation Council and the United Arab Emirates.

With a solitary aim to prioritise consumers, AXA Green Crescent focussed on uplifting its consumers by delivering custom-made services and products to assist them better.

The firm rebranded itself to HAYAH Insurance Company PJSC in 2022. It is the United Arab Emirates’ newest life insurer.
